The
Exopolitics Journal accepts submissions relating to the field of
exopolitics broadly defined as the key actors, institutions and
processes associated with the extraterrestrial hypothesis. To inquire
about the applicability of topics, contact journal@exopoliticsinstitute.org.
The
Exopolitics Journal publishes articles in four separate sections:
Experience, Analysis, Interviews, and Book Reviews. Experience articles
are shorter essays of between one to two thousand words describing
the author's experiences which have exopolitical significance. Analysis
articles are expected to be more academically rigorous with appropriate
referencing, and no longer than five thousand words in length. Review
articles are between one to two thousand words. Interviews are up
to five thousand words and should feature material not previously
published on the internet.
When
submitting an article, please email the article to: journal@exopoliticsinstitute.org
. Make sure to include:
The
article in either Word, WordPerfect, or Rich Text format,
A biographical statement about yourself,
Whether you wish to submit to the Experience, Analysis or Review
sections, and
Your contact information.
In
addition to ensuring the files are in an accessible word processing
format, texts should follow the guidelines for formatting from the
Chicago Manual of Style. Articles should include footnotes, references,
and where necessary tables and figures. If figures are submitted,
if possible submit these as separate graphics files.
While
the Exopolitics Journal will occasionally reprint an article with
the authors and publisher's consent where the original is
not widely available in print and not available elsewhere on the
Internet, we expect that other submissions will consist of primarily
original work not published elsewhere.
